I realised recently that I had very little by way of completed knitted things for this baby and spurred on by a request for a pair of bootees for a friend, I knocked these little sets out. First up we have this little set which is being sent to Sam.

Here’s a close-up of the elephant pattern

And then there are these sets that I made for my own little baby
The bootees are all knit from the Saartje’s bootees pattern (link to pdf file), Sam’s hat and the stripy hat are both knit from the Handle hat pattern (link to pdf file) and the red hat is the Vine lace baby hat. All of these patterns are available free – isn’t the internet a wonderful thing?!

Aww those are so cute!!! I really like the colours in the last set!! Gx
I squealed the other day when I saw these on flickr, very cute – should make big people sized hats
Beautiful!! thanks so much for my set Von
I agree about the idea of making big people hats. I would sooo be all over that red one if it fit my noggin’!!
Oh, they’re beautiful. So cute – look at the tiny shoes! *melts*
Ohhh I love those hats and bootees. Can you give me a hint as to something you’d like for junior ….
Love that rainbow set! So cute. I knitted myself some socks out of that fab wool – so bright and cheery!
Lovely elephants! My favourite set is the red one – I am always drawn to red!
I Just love these hat and booties combo, I wish I could knit. The red is my favorite.
As per Chrissys comment if you made grown up peoples sizes I would have a red one!
Von, I need me a heffalump hat. Pretty please? I’ll pay you in hugs, food and cold hard cash.
I’m sure I can manage that! Might not be ready until end of Summer though, I’ll have a natter with you about colours etc and see what you’re looking for x
Aww! I queued the pattern for those booties on Ravelry but my baby is now 11mths old so a bit old for bootees! they look fab though, hopefully one of my friends will have a baby and I can have ago at them
