This is Nigella Lawson’s chocolate mousse cake, the recipe can be found in her book “How to be a Domestic Goddess” and if you click on the photograph, I’ve posted it on the flickr page. It’s yummy, probably massively calorific and best of all? It uses eight whole eggs.

You’re right, Von, it does look awful! LOL I can imagine that it tastes magnificently though!
Just for the record I think it’s my favourite cake ever! Looks like a dog’s breakfast no matter how well you cook it but it tastes absolutely fantastic. In fact I think I’ll fight Vonnie for the last bit.
wow – I think it looks fab – the sort of cake me and my friend who is equally silly would maintain has no calories at all cos it is a bit imperfect looking
That cake looks absolutely scrummy – but then I like chocolate cake.
