Hello everyone! The deadline for the Time for Tea swap is looming, with all participants due to mail out their parcels by this Friday. I’m so excited to see what everyone has been creating for their swap partners! If you’re participating in the swap, how are you getting on? Have you finished your swap item yet?
In other news I am still here and still being crafty – I promise I will be back this week with some real content. I’m just finding this last stage of pregnancy to be utterly exhausting and I’m not doing quite as much as I usually do. In the meantime if you don’t already, you can catch up with my brief updates on twitter.
Today I’m hoping to finish off some little bootees I’ve been making and attempt Nigella’s Malteser cake so I will hopefully post about those tomorrow. ALSO! I am devastated by the end of Dancing on Ice, particularly since my favourite, Jessica, didn’t get to skate Bolero. Woe is me. How am I going to fill in my Sunday evenings now?!

Mines is a disaster! Only kidding…sort of. It was complete a while ago but then I lost something so I made another and then I decided I didn’t like it so I have some urmm half finished projects on the go. All to be finished by this evening though
mine is pretty much done – it just needs to be assembled. i hope it’s ok, it’s actually a bit nervewarcking doing something like this!

I haven’t had a chance to start mine yet. I had loads of good idea but no time to make them. So, I will do it tonight or toimorrow and aim to get it sent by Friday.
I had a disaster with the thing I was making, so I’m going to have one final go at it and if it doesn’t work out I’ll either adapt it or try my back up idea.
I’ve sent you an email, I’ve made something but can’t get the bits to go with it unless the car gets fixed in time!
I received my parcel this morning – I’ll be writing a post about it when I finish this comment! I posted my parcel this morning (first class!) so Sam should get it tomorrow

My swap will be in the post by Saturday at the very latest (forgot to add time on for washing the damn things…). Funnily enough I will be making Nigella’s Malteser cake for my birthday tomorrow (isn’t it sad when you have to make your own cake!!). My boys love it – it’s their preferred birthday cake.
I’ve emailed Julia about mine (it’s a disaster and still awaiting supplies for part of it!). Should be posted by the end of this week – sorry for being a shambles
