That looks yum! And since I can’t even find cherry bakewells here, I definitely want to try it. Listening until the bubbles stop? I’ve never heard of that. The oven in this place is very iffy, usually miles hotter than it actually says.

I love cherry bakewells, but I have decided that I am going to have to watch what I eat, I weighed myself yesterday and literally cried when I saw what it said. I will just stare at the photo…….hmmmmmmmm.

My Nan used to make cherry bakewell by recycling her old stale cakes!! It was quite horrible But my grandad always liked it!

Might give this a go in the week – thanks for the recipe. & I’m glad your neck is feeling a little better – let us know how it goes at the docs tomorrow. xx
