Thanks very much to everyone who has both participated in the challenge and those who have taken the time to come by, look and vote! I really enjoyed hosting this and I’ll DEFINITELY run another challenge later in the year. How fun!
Anyway, by a BIG margin the winner of the craft challenge is entry #2 from Ali at Craft Matters. As a reminder she utilised one of her Dad’s old ties to make herself a business card wallet and a needle book as a birthday present for her sister. Before:

After (needle book first, business card wallet second and third):

Congratulations Ali! Your prize will be sent off next week and I’ll email you to let you know when to expect it

Well done Ali! When I mentioned the challenge to Malcolm, he pointed out lots of things of his I could have entered for him – especialy the alpine planters, which he made from scrap bits left over from making the deck in our last garden….maybe next time!
I kept meaning to finish off the chicken coop I built from our neighbours old fence so that I could enter it. I never did get around to giving it a lick of paint though.
Congrats Ali
Oooooh! That’s exciting. Thanks everyone who voted for me, I really appreciate it. It’ll be nice to remember next time I am feeling unconfident about my crafting.
