Boredom is a terrible taskmaster…

I’ve signed up for Sam’s button swap after she was short a swapper. I never intend to join in these things but get sucked in by the excitement and fun. I’ve been partnered with Laura which is very exciting as I’ve been in awe of her work for quite a long time now!

Button Jewellery Swap

I’ve also joined in Apryl’s Fantasy Movie swap which I’m massively excited about. I’ve been partnered with Christa who shares the same favourite film as me (The Labyrinth) so I need to get cracking on with my crafting for her :)

Also! I didn’t want to post about this until after the fact, but I have been crafting again! My lovely friend Fiona got married on Saturday and she mentioned a few months ago that she had loads to do but no time to do it. I asked if I could help and she asked me to make the ties for her groomsmen (the pink ones). This of course gives me an opportunity to share a photo of the gorgeous bride and her handsome new husband.

Chris and Fiona get married!

Aren’t they gorgeous? I’m so thrilled for them and it was an honour to share their day, they are such a fantastic couple and I just know they’re going to make one another so happy.

I’ll leave you with a bit more pink. I am a bad Mummy.

Cheeky!

Aahaaha!

I'm so funny

That movie swap sounds amazing – the Labyrinth is my favourite too!

I LOVE those pink ties – the colour theme is fantastic!

Erica’s hair is amazing! I bet the dress looks even better on her now!

Loving Erica’s hair, that makes you the bestest Mummy in my book! How I’d have loved pink hair when I was small (and now not so small)!

The pink hair is fab – like candy floss – and she’s clearly in love with it! Definitely one for the family album.

Well done with the ties too – I always find that it’s when you’re under pressure and doing it for someone’s special occasion that whatever you’re making is fraught with tension and twice as hard…

I love Erica’s hair – I would never have thought how much it suits a toddler, but she looks fab!
I suppose that’s the best time in life to have your hair pink!
I vote you keep it like that until she starts school!

What’s the point in even having a small child if you can’t dye their hair, dress them up as stupid things for Halloween, or stick things to their back and laugh at them? It’s probably best I never have children, and instead just stick with animals who’ll never grow up to know any better :(

oh bless, Erica looks so cute… even though I’m not really a pink sorta girl, more a red, purple or black… my hair is too dark to take light colours.. and the Boy’s hair is really too curly to color it just wouldn’t look right I don’t think… hmmmm
